Amazing soul food made fresh every day at the restaurant. I've lived in Little Rock for three years and this is the best soul food I've had by a long shot. Their fried catfish is juicy and perfectly battered, the fried chicken is tender and has awesome flavor, greens are a delicious side, Mac and Cheese is worth getting. Wait staff is nice and efficient- won't be waiting long in line. On Sundays they have a small band play music inside, always talented musicians. Also a friendly environment, eaters and servers alike.

Visited family in Little Rock for Thanksgiving...they'd ordered a smoked turkey from Kitchen Express. I've never been to their location nor have I seen the menu or tried anything else, but the smoked turkey was delicious. It was moist and had just the right amount of smoke...not to mention it was a pretty bird...a chestnut brown color. Sorry I'm cheating a little since I've never physically been but that turkey was delish!

I must say that things seem to improve at this local restaurant since the last time I came here. The food taste much better than before and the employees are friendly as always. The owner even came out to spoke and see if everything okay. I will be returning here and will once again recommend people to come here to eat some of the best soul food in town!!

Best. Soul. Food. Eva. Smoked turkey legs, fried chicken, smothered fried pork chops, greens, yams--it's what you remember eating when you were a kid if you're from around here. Do NOT pass up that yeast roll @ the end of the line. You may not like banana pudding or peach cobbler--order them anyway. You will wanna slap your Grandma for failing you. The atmosphere's not great, but its good enough. It's cafeteria style. The owners/managers are really pleasant & good community members. Secretary of State to-be Clinton stopped in the last time I remember her being in town for an event.
